One of the most modern foundries in Europe with a quality system assessed in compliance to the higher automotive market standards, Fonderia di Torbole is the ideal partner for co-design, production and supplying activities both for system suppliers and car makers.

Environment and Circular Economy
The activity of the foundry highlights in a good part of its processes the “circularity” of the economy, given in good part by the recycling industry and all the supply chains involved.
A large part of the raw material used in our production processes comes, in fact, from ferrous scrap and the reuse of waste from the same processes.
We have been applying for years a continuous, preventive and integrated environmental strategy toward processes, products and services in order to increase the overall efficiency and reduce the impact on ‘environment and man in view of circular economy.

Fonderia di Torbole is always active in the goal of increasingly reducing environmental impacts. This can be appreciated in the data relating to the consumption of raw materials, the percentages of reuse of recycled material, the careful production of waste materials and their reuse and/or disposal, emissions into the atmosphere, water resources.

Fonderia di Torbole is always active in the goal of reducing environmental impacts more and more.
This can be appreciated in the data on raw material consumption, recycling material reuse rates, careful production of waste materials and their reuse and/or disposal, atmospheric emissions, water resources.
The production process
is organized with appropriate computerized control stations that measure, visualize and adjust all the variables and all the main technological parameters guaranteeing quality and repeatability without wasting time and materials.
Our facilities, which are continuously updated according to technical developments and in compliance with current environmental and safety regulations, guarantee not only product quality but also environmental protection and safety in the workplace.

CORALIS is an European eco-sustainable project
CORALIS is an eco-sustainable project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement NO. 958337, involving 29 companies in 7 different countries of the European Union.
The objective is to mitigate the environmental impact by reducing pollution and CO2 emissions and increasing the sustainable resources and energy efficiency through the implementation of a new long term industrial symbiosis, making the actors in the value chains interact with each other and combining strategies through technological, managerial and economic factors.
Fonderia di Torbole actively joins the consortium as a lighthouse case through two projects aimed to maximize the reuse of resources normally considered as scrap:
– Recovery of metals from powders coming from hot blasting machines filters
– Use of Biochar as a partial substitute for coke carbon

Quality Policy
We consider Quality the main success factor in competing with the competition. For these reasons we have implemented a Quality Management System according to the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard and the IATF 16949 Technical Specification in order to improve the management of business processes and meet customer requirements in the automotive market. The system is planned through the analysis of risks and opportunities, believing that this type of approach makes the company proactive and non-reactive, preventing or reducing unwanted effects and promoting continuous improvement.
